Jan 31, 2010 – In an area that is known for its technological innovations and start-ups, Armadillow Inc. is making advancements in an old industry. Armadillow Inc. has recently launched a uniquely shaped pillow that allows couples to cuddle in comfort.
The idea for the specialized cuddle pillow came when one of the founders felt it was "nearly impossible" to find a comfortable position while cuddling with his girlfriend. He found that either his arm became sore quickly or he couldn't see over his girlfriends head while watching television. After telling a friend about the idea, they decided to start building a solution to the problem. In late 2009, after a few months of product design and testing, Armadillow Inc. launched the Armadillow Pillow. The pillow’s patent pending design features a multi-leveled pillow top and supportive arm tunnels. These features help to alleviate arm and neck pain while helping to increase visibility for two people cuddling. Another perk of the pillow is that its components are all handmade by local Bay Area businesses.
Just like the creators of the Snuggie, who made a small change to the blanket, Armadillow Inc. hopes that a few small changes to an ordinary pillow will make for a vastly improved cuddling experience.
