Gift Card Giving Trends for Retailers: Take Part in Quick Survey

PR Log (Press Release) – Mar 11, 2010 – Most consumers have bought a plastic preloaded gift card or received one for a birthday, Christmas, housewarming, surprise or even as a last-minute emergency gift option.

But what makes consumers buy plastic gift cards? What are the gift card attributes eg easy, quick, fun, affordable etc that attract them most? What value amounts (eg $10? $50? $100?) would they reach for, which lets you know what (not) to stock? And where do they expect to see the gift cards displayed in a retail store? Hanging on a shelf? In a basket? Next to the cash register?

If you're a retailer, do you currently sell plastic preloaded gift cards in your bricks-and-mortar store and/or on your website - or do you plan to? You don't have to "approve" of them as a gift option to stock them to make customers happy!

Whether you're a shopper or a retailers (online and/or bricks-and-mortar), please take part in a fun, quick, anonymous survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/GiftCardSurvey to show your experience and opinions regarding gift cards.

The survey is at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/GiftCardSurvey
