Mar 04, 2010 – Before the red carpet rolls out, Ford Artists-fashion stylist, Lisa Cera, will be gabbing about the glamorous gowns that will be showcased on Hollywood’s biggest night. Cera will be featured on CelebTV.com’s Tribute to the Movies on Sunday, March 7th at 5 PM on ABC. The one-hour network special, hosted by Kelli Zink, celebrates your favorite celebrities, and in the fun-filled fashion segment, the ladies dish about Tinseltown’s trends.
Cera, one of the country’s leading fashion experts, has styled a stellar array of stars including the Kardashian sisters, Shakira, Gloria Estefan, Penelope Ann Miller, Mickey Rourke and many others. On the program, Cera provides insight into the process the star and stylist go through in order to pick the perfect gown for the award shows; she then highlights some of the most beautiful trends from timeless to modern.
“This award show, among all others, is when stars want to channel the glamour of old Hollywood,” explains Cera. “The photos taken here last forever, so many of gowns will pay homage to the classic designs of the 40’s and 50’s, however, the younger generation of nominees will certainly add a fun flirty edge to keep the look young and fresh.”
And for color? Cera showcases the iconic black, enduring white and several colorful selections in a variety of silhouettes. “There will definitely be reds, flashes of blue and a continuation of some of the jewel tones,” she explained. “We will also see the ladies showing off their waistlines,” she said. In addition she anticipates the continuation of the revealing one shoulder and strapless looks. Some of the designers she features include Carolina Herrera, Luca Luca, Badgley Mischka, Roberto Cavalli and more.
