Childrens Drawing Competition, Cookery Club

PRLog (Press Release) – Sep 21, 2009 – Childrens Cooking EquipmentChildren have always enjoyed baking cakes but there has been a recent surge in support for children’s cooking.  This has been fuelled by the recognition that getting children interested in food and cooking can help to develop healthy eating within whole families.

To help to promote cookery within schools and organisations for children, Spotty Boxes have launched a children’s drawing competition for schools, nurseries and cookery clubs as well as Guiding and Scout groups.  These organisations can win up to £100 to spend on www.SpottyGiftBoxes.co.uk which provides a range of cooking equipment for home and schools.

Children's Cooking ApronFor the competition, children are invited to draw a design to be printed onto an apron.  Lucky winners will receive an apron featuring their own design.

Other prizes will include “smiley face” aprons from the Kids Cooking Company (as featured on Dragons Den).

Entries are divided into 3 age groups – up to 4 years old, 5 – 7 years olds and 8 – 11 years old.

Further details of the Children’s Drawing Competition ( http://www.spottygiftboxes.co.uk/articles/drawing_compet ...) are featured on www.SpottyGiftBoxes.co.uk.   The competition closes on 18 December 2009.
