Long Tall Sally Hits The Headlines

PRLog (Press Release) – Aug 25, 2009 – The face of Long Tall Sally Lisa Butcher hit the headlines when she and her family appeared in Hello Magazine. Lisa Butcher, the former super model and presenter of ‘What Not To Wear’, strutted her stuff for a fashion shoot with Hello which also featured her two beautiful daughters, Olivia and Amber. Lisa’s children have undoubtedly inherited her good looks and model stature working the new ranges from Long Tall Sally.  The photo shoot was a first glimpse at the new collections (LTS Boutique and Lisa For Long Tall Sally) from the growing high street store, which caters for women 5’8” and above.

After the success of her debut ‘Lisa for Long Tall Sally’ range which launched in March, Lisa was keen to show Hello and its readers a selection of her favourite pieces from her hotly awaited second collection, which has just hit the shops. Her intention for the line Lisa says was: “To create all the things I felt were missing from my own wardrobe”, items she had seen in regular high street shops that just didn’t fit her taller frame. Being extremely hands on in the design process, she is particularly proud of the Turner Skinny Jean, that she confesses she lives in, adding: ‘They are the best jeans I have ever worn.’  

Olivia and Amber also gushed about the Long Tall Sally brand and in particular the new LTS Boutique range that is aimed at a fashion forward customer. Olivia aged 15 and at 5’ 10” was impressed to find trend conscious clothes that fit and flatter her tall figure. Olivia says: “I have picked out some really cool stuff (from the LTS Boutique Collection): two dresses to wear with leggings, a sequinned jacket and some grey skinny jeans”.  Not only is it a success with Olivia but Long Tall Sally customers have responded well to this stylish range.

Lisa says: “The Long Tall Sally brand has evolved completely in the past few years. “There was a time when the clothes were quite frumpy and not something I would have wanted to be associated with. Now, they’re much more cutting edge.”
